Water purifiers have turned out to be one of the most important innovations in the present times, with water getting more and more contaminated even as the water bodies are shrinking.

Asal makes state-of-the-art water purifiers to give you the cleanest drinking water so that you can keep yourself and your families safe from water-borne diseases. The Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purifiers use filters and membranes to clean the water and to keep the pure water supplied to you at all times.

But like all machines, these ROs need regular upkeep, and some care needs to be taken so that water quality remains top-notch, while the purifier keeps working in perfect order.

We at Asal come up with regular blogs either introducing our products to you or letting you in on the tips to keep the products in perfect order. In today’s blog, we will guide you through some important steps to keep your water purifiers functioning in the best possible way.

Change the filter every three months!

The RO purifiers have a multi-stage cleaning process. The first one is the sediment filter, which stops many of the impurities while water is being pumped inside the water purifier.

This filter needs to be changed every three months. The contaminants in the water eventually clog this filter and it becomes impossible for it to keep the water clean. So it is important to replace this filter every three months.

Replace the carbon filter annually!

The carbon filter absorbs and removes Chlorine and other dangerous contaminants that the water contains. It not only helps clean the water but also is important for the proper functioning of the RO membrane.

You can watch a DIY video from Youtube and change the filter by yourself or we can have our service engineers reach you within no time. All you need to do is call.

Replace the RO membrane!

The RO membrane as the name suggests is the most important of the purifying devices that these purifiers have. They block the contaminants and keep the water clean. These membranes need to be changed every two to three months depending on the quality of water in your area.

Apart from this, ensure that you look for any drips or leakages in the purifier.

You also need to sanitize the water tank of the purifier every once in a while to keep the impurities from settling in the water tank.

We suggest that a yearly service by a service engineer greatly enhances the life of the purifier.
